What's the plug-in on the diff for?
Noticed theres a plug-in and wires running from the top of the differential up to somewhere under the cab (didn't fallow 'em yet).

Does anyone know what's it for?

'89 F150

Vehicle Speed Sensor right?

Isn't that supose to be in the transmission?

You have two of them things - the one on the trans is for the PCM, the one on the rear axle is for the RABS. '92-up trucks have just the axle VSS, its signal is used by both the PCM and the RABS.

I know it don't have one, but you asked about on-trans VSS, so I answered what it is for, if present
