i would stop looking at suncoast and ATS and start looking at John Wood automotive, Racer X, and BTS. of course BTS is probably THE BEST, but cost is around $4k....

Give Bill a call , he's a great guy to deal with ..
He's not in right now ,(went home early ) but if you look at the contact page ,you can call him(&leave a message ) or e mail, he does do full builds ..(bullet proof if you want) ...

I've heard nothing but great reviews about bill at Racer X. But when I have the money for a tranny Brian will be sending me one, for the sole fact that his chit is bomb proof and they were very helpful on the phone with me when I called with trans questions. I have heard very few issues with tranny's and when they do come up its no hassle to get it replaced. I didn't follow up on a thread I was reading about replacement but there was a guy that blew his motor up into three peices and cracked the tranny case right down the middle and people were saying that BTS would warrenty it, and it was the guys fault for running nitrous. I want to say it was something stupid like a 400 shot that back fired and obliterated everything. BTS gets my business for my truck and then Racer X will get my business for my spare tranny when I rebuild that (just cuz I wanna learn about the inside of the E4OD)

when/if you call racerx, do yourself a favor, talk to anyone but a guy named maverick. those guys lost my business because of how i was treated over the phone. first impressions are everything to me and that guy was a d!ck. long story short, go with BTS. great customer service/technical info.

I called RacerX a few months back and from what I can gather Maverick is the new owner and Bill is gone. I can't say Maverick was a d!ckhead to me, although I will say previous this when I talked to Bill he was more helpful and explanative about things. The biggest problem I had with Maverick was their phone system must have been messed up because it was real staticy and I could hardly make out every other word he was saying.

You have no major mod's on your truck, no need for a performance tranny... just get a stock rebuild... If you were goin to put some new Injectors and chip in that baby and make it a REAL truck then definitely go for the upgraded tranny's
