I've got a 2004 Ranger Edge that will shift into reverse just fine but when going from park to drive it will not engage until about 1500 rpm. Works normal after engaging. One you go back to neutral or park - problems begin again. Then you have to repeat the 1500rpm before shifting levels out. Oil level is good.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
