I have heard of another one called clear blue. I have not seen them but the guy who uses them said he had the silverstars and switched to the clear blues and they are brighter. Also due not have the blue light that annoys everyone. But like I said I have not seen this for myself.

So how many watts like he asked?
I just changed mine to some blue 5900 W and it doesnt seem to make any diffrence.
Its like driving blinfolded at night with my lights.
Also for some reason I had a hard time changing mine , I landed up tearing half the truck apart on the drivers side after i spent a hour trying to get the bulb holder dealie to seat back where it had to go.

I had to remove my batteries to get mine in! I am using the silverstar's and they put out much more light than the stockers.

I have "normal" sized hands-(I am male) and I have changed my bulbs several times in the last few months without removing anything but the retainer ring that holds the bulb in the housing (and the plug, of course) I am now using the Sylvania Silverstar ULTRAS, they seem to do a nice job without getting into trouble.

Headlight bulb

Nothing beats the HID kits available. They are going for about 60-80 bucks on ebay. They are so bright that you get so used to them that you would have to install them on all your vehicles because after you drive a car with normal bulbs you just keep thinking the lights are off.
