ummm how are you going to go about tuning the airflow performance of the additional 2 intake runners you need to graft on ???

seems to me each intake runner must be tuned perfectly or your going to have some cylinders making more power then others, which could spell death for your motor..

but GL on it, certainly interested to see the outcome.

I would look at splitting the manifold in the middle and adding two homemade runners in the middle. Seems flow wise it would be more even than adding two runners to the back.

This might be plain crazy but didn't Ford make a supercharger for the Hydrogen fueled 3 Valve V10? I think they were for small Bus type units and generators. If they did, could you not source the manifold from them. They may have more parts that will help out as well. The trick is finding out who to talk to as I don't know if they include "green products" in the performance dictionary...

Just a thought that might help a cool project...

A 3V intake WILL NOT fit a 2V engine.

You guys with 2V 6.8L engines may want to look at this. (Yes, it is a Paxton blower, not a roots style)

A V10 is just a 5.4L with two extra cylinders. So why not take the supercharger off of a lightning and modify it to work on a V10?

PLAN:
Take two lightning lower intakes and cut them in half and join them back together to make a intake for the V10. Not only would it make good power but parts are plentiful for the lightnings. This could easily be done for under $2,500 with used lightning parts.

I have gathered most of the parts for this and should start on cutting the intakes up in a week or two. I will be posting pictures as I go along. This build is also in the V10 engine section incase you don't make it over there.

jacek, start your own thread. In the meantime, check out 5-Star tuning. They should be able to do what you need, although I'm not sure they ship to Poland
