I had a few minutes this afternoon so I thought I would go ahead and try to locate the PCM code so I would have it for when I eventually order my chip. I successfully located the PCM, but the only "label" I could see was on the side of the PCM, just inside the plug in the engine compartment on the side towards the driver's fender. I began the process of unscrewing the bolts so I could see it, but getting to the bolt that holds the plug on was quite difficult. I ended up stopping because I was running out of daylight. Is there anywhere else to look for the code without having to unplug and remove the PCM?

i cant remember but i think u have to remove it!

 

Mechanic's mirror and flashlight. Doesn't work all the time, but might work for you.

Don't bother trying to take the bolt out, just unscrew it until you can pull the plug off.
