I am wanting to know if there is a difference between the 3/4 ton and 1 ton frames for 4x4's. Also would like to know if 4x4 extended cabs came in 1 ton models. Is It possible to convert a extended cab long box truck to a 4 door short box truck with out too many modifications.

According to hollander interchange, the frames from F250 and F350 4 x 4 are the same, I can't tell you about the crew cab short bed though, because there is not one listed on the hollander interchange.
