Need to replace my motor in my f150. the rod bearings are shot. I was told that in the newer model fords you need to remove the cab to get the motor out. Does anyone know if this holds true for my year of truck?? Any help or suggestions will be apprieciated.
I heard that the dealerships pick up the entire body to replace engines.
I also heard that if it's just the engine you want to remove you just have to remove the hood only.
Engine and transmission together will not come out thru the engine compartment so I heard.
