7.3 Pedestal to Engine Block

I pulled the pedestal, and it came up with o-rings attached to it. But, also there is another set of o-rings that are in the block so they were stacked. Did someone before stack the o-rings or is there supposed to be another set in the engine block.?

Your eyes are tricking you. That is just the colored coating of the orings that transferred to the block. There are not another set of o-rings there.
