Morning Virginians. What's happening in the neighborhood today??

 

Good Morning! Its another beautiful snowfilled day here in Burke VA!

I am officially SICK of snow! Granted, it makes me lots of money when I'm out plowing, but I need warm weather to get the ranger back together and I can't do it with all this snow. Come on Spring!

 

Good Evening....45 days till Spring!

 

I don't buy into all that groundhog crap. Put enough spot lights around anything and there is bound to be a shadow. This snow is really killing me. Figure we had snow last weekend, snow this morning, snow this coming Friday, and now it looks like there may be another storm coming next Tuesday. ENOUGH ALREADY! AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!




I think I am having a melt down while I'm waiting for the melt down. lol

 

I really like the snow, it really is the best time of the year. The snow is just a bonus to a cold and dormant season.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong, I like to look at it and it's nice when it's coming down, but the days out on the road plowing parking lots, fulfilling my contacts, takes time away from the family. For example, today I left my house at around 1:30am to go plow/spread ice melt and got back home at around 7:30am just to go to work all day getting back home at 6pm. Now I'm too tired to sleep and I have to do it again this weekend. With the 12-20" they are calling for around here, I'll be out for a couple of days.

 

And on this note, I'm out for the night, so good night all!

 

Yeah, I guess it can get to ya, I just have about 800 sq ft of patio driveway and sidewalks to worry about, and a .2 mile commute to work.

 

It's really funny to hear you guys all complain about the snow. Dont get me wrong i completely understand what you guys are saying, but for the past 4 years Ive been here in Alaska where we have snow for 7 months out of the year give or take. Its gonna be funny when i come home and see the plows bcs up here they use FULL size dozers and what not to clear the roads and parkin lots. and we still drive on straight ice! but i will agree with all of you I CAN NOT wait for the weather to warm up, for all you in VA and for me as well (im gettin tired of -20)

 

no complaints from me about snow... i love it.... my only "complaint" was my encounter with ice the other day just trying to walk around the house and nearly breaking my arm when i slipped on it...
