Just some old skis should work pretty well, and most likely free.

I actuallly used puck boards to refinish the bottom of my 5th wheel, after I had to tear off the sheet metal in order to evict a squirrel. It worked out really well, with stands rocks hitting it, doesn't attract the frost the way metal does, light weight, durable & won't crack under pressure, easy to clean, and it's easy to work with. Just need a jigsaw to cut it, and a file to smooth off the edges.

Let me know how it all works out, I might get more ambitious and get mine finished, but we have about 2 - 3 feet of snow on the lake, so.....

Maybe I should just convert it to a "snowsurfer", like the windsurfers back home. Just attach a couple of foot straps, rig up a sail on a piece of puck board, and away I go, haha
