87 f150, bad fuel gauge

alright, I got the bed settled, now i have another Q for the ford community, Fuel Gauge! dual tanks, one gauge, an rocker switch. when its set to the front tank (19gal) it pegs out beyond full, but its almost empty. when i flip to rear tank (17gal)it settles on empty. Any ideas? bad guage? crap sender unit, fualty wire? if its the guage can someone tell me what ohms it is..an what ohms are. the guages i see online all say like 90 ohms full 0 empty or 233 empty an 32 full.. im clueless please help!

I'd guess the dash switch is bad. The rocker switch is to physically switch between the tanks- the dash switch only provides the gauge. My dad had a bad dash switch in one of his pickups and the gauge would do the same thing to him.

As for the specific switch you need, I couldn't tell you for sure.
