i live about 40 minutes from cleveland ohio and i am looking for a trusted diesel shop to work on my 05 6.0 psd. i am getting ready to do some serious after market work ( head studs and so on) thanks for the help.

 

When I had my head gasket replaced I put in AP studs. I used John Lance ford. I was pleased with there work. My buddy works there also and he said they do work on some modified 6.0l trucks

cdahl, use john lance ford! Go their and ask for john darby (i beleive thats his last name). just dont go their until weds hahahah, hes workin on my truck and i want it to get done hahah lol But ya he will do mods on ur 6.0. I am gonna have him do studs, chip and EGR delete this coming summer. BTW where are you from cleveland? Itd be nice to get some diesel owners to have a "get together" lol

about 45 minutes away from cleveland in streetsboro. its a smaller town. get together sounds nice. i got a ton of buddies with diesels they just arn't on the site.

im actually laid up right now, i just got knee surgery. how about later in feb. or march? also, who do you use to buy tuners and such? my buddies turned me onto these guys in streetsboro called FTE diesel. just wondering if you have a place thats done you right?

 

I would go threw spartan diesel. I wouldnt get any of those bullydog crappy tuners. They do more harm then good. Also im new to tuners to. SO some guys on this forum can give you more info on tuners. Ive only owned my truck for a week an a half.

Have any of you guys delt with Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield? I head good things about them through a coworker. I just dropped my 03 F350 off there yesterday. I think my balljoints are shot and I don't have the tools or time to do it myself.

....hopefully I don't come out of this one broke!
