Hi everyone, Just got my 6 position TS Performance chip back from being reprogrammed due to my ATS Tranny slamming into gear. (less than happy with TS Performance cutomer service but that is another issue) I just recently bought the truck with the tuner and tranny already there but no manual or installation instructions were in the truck to go with the chip.
Do I need to disconnect the batteries and wait for a short period of time before hooking this up? Any other things I need to do to avoid screwing this up? Thanks
Not sure on what was on the chip before I send it back to TS. I think they reprogrammed it with their standard tunes and I have it sitting here on the kitchen table. Thanks for the quick replies and the link. I will get it installed as soon as the temperature goes above 20 degrees and let you know how it performs. Kinda wish I would have done a little more homework before shipping it to TS. Live and learn.
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of problems did you have with the customer service?? I've heard of the TS chip, can be tuned by different tuners but just wondering, never heard anything negative about them..
To be clear, TS is *not* Tony's Company. That would be TDP, "Total Diesel Performance". He'll fill a TS up with whatever tunes you want for $150 though.....

I thought so, I hear guys getting different tunes from that TS chip. So is that chip Tony uses or does he have his own??
Big poppa, I don't want to slam a product in an open forum but I can pm you if you still want to know why I was dissatisfied with the customer service issue.
I noticed you have ISSPRO gauges. Bob from ISSPRO just called me 3 times to help me with an issue and I couldn't be happier with them.

Thats cool, I don't think of it as slamming, just information for the next guy making a major purchase. Anyways, yes, Isspros are nice, Bob from Dieselsite?? Shoot me a PM anyways, just between us, you have me curious now!
