I usually buy the cheapest oil filter I can find which may or may not include the fram that you buy at walmart and I have not noticed ANY issues what so ever.
What does this mean? I don't know. I'm just saying that it does not seem to matter to my truck what I use since it has over 341000 plus miles and runs like new.
The one constant that I have stuck with is castrol 5w30.
One of the days I'm going to tear down the engine and look inside and when I do I may find a dead mokey in it, but for now it's keep on trucking.
