92 F150 4WD CONVERSION

I was wondering is it possible to use the electric shift transfer case in my truck to do the conversion. I am only finding those for my truck and want to know if it will work.

Yes, you just need to get all the parts to make it work, i.e. the button for the dash and the harness that goes to it. Look around for work trucks in your local scrap yard. By work trucks, I mean the no frills, stripped down, rubber floor mat, vinyal bench seat trucks. When they were sold in 4x4, they typically had the manual shift cases.

so the extra plug on my tranny wiring harness would be for the transfer case all i would need is the harness for inside the dash to plug to wherever it goes.

Not sure what is in your existing wiring harness, get a good manual for your truck and it should tell you what is what.

most people who swap to 4x4 opt for manual t-case (and hubs too!)...there might not be many people who have

try to find a truck in the scrap yard that has the same tranny with the electric t-case behind it, then is should have all the same wiring and you can look and find out where everything goes...

thats all i can offer you man, im one of those shifter guys, less wires the better IMO
