2010 F150 - Leer 100 XL or XQ Pictures and Opinions

That's a great looking camper shell. That's the same one I'm looking at. Don't worry about those old man wise crackers. If you hunt and fish and use the truck as a truck instead of a grocery getter, the camper is a must. Some valuables need to be constantly locked up.
Why are people opposed to removing the factory bed rails? As long as it's a solid top I'd rather have it Line-X'd. It would be better looking and a much better seal for sure.

Just a note on toppers (caps up north) and closed tonneau covers, if you don't seal the tailgate you will collect dust like crazy on gravel roads. My Access roll up cover came with a gasket meant to do just that but I never installed it and whoohoo what a mess lol. 1/8 inch of dust on everything under the cover (including inside my hunting boots).
I love the roll-up cover for everything else tho !

I have a Leer 100R on the back of my '08 Screw and love it. It has tool boxes on each side where the windows normally go. I've never had trouble with water getting in, even after going through a car wash. I'm 62 so if people think it's a flatulent geriatric truck, big whoop and don't stand down wind of me.
