'89 F250 Shift Linkage Repair, What Should I Expect?

What kind of day should I expect when I decide to tackle replacing the seals on the steering linkage? The seals are essentially non existent, should I go ahead and replace the joints as well (if that is even possible)? Any special tools I need to pick up? I've already got a ball joint spreader, the fork looking thing, from another SOB job.

BTW, the truck wonders all over the road when driving but most of the suspension is due for replacement.
