Wet Clutch
#3
Theres dry clutches and wet clutches, Dry is obvious and wet is imersed in fluid, greatly extending the life of the clutch. They arnt so popular anymore because they arnt easy to work on or install, but techincally they should last as long as the truck does. Im just looking for on for a 78 F350

I have seen a few on big fork lifts and the like but I have no idea how you would ever adapt one to a pick up, maybe if you swapped to an SAE industrial bell housing but its not worth the trouble the standard clutches last plenty long. I am sure it could be done, might be some odd ball industrial bell housing that will actually bolt to your engine and transmission. You might try this on the clutches and drivelines forum.
