I've got a 99 F-250 SD w/ a 5.4 that started missing out or "misfiring" two days ago. About a year ago I replaced the intake gaskets and the #7 COP due to a similar condition. This time it came on very suddenly (unlike the last) and its not throwing up any codes....(which confuses me). Coolant level looks a tad low, but I just want a little affirmation before I tear the intake apart again. Any help? PLEASE!?!?!
i would check 2 see if the coil packs on top of the spark plugs are bad bc it sounds like it 2 me imo and if they are grrrrrr i replaced a couple on my old beast and then they all took a crap

not showing any codes at all, seems to falter the most at around 1700-1800rpm. No oil contaminatioin (water). I get a faint whiff or anti-freeze smell when I first open the hood, but have a hard time believing that the improved gaskets have failed already!
