Rear speakers, 2003 F350 Crew Cab

Any advice on how to pull the rear panels off in a 2003 F350 Crew Cab dually...I want to replace the factory speakers, but am not sure how to remove the panels behind the seat...speakers aren't in the door. Thanks!

My dads got the same year CC and his speakers are in the doors. He has a nice area to store stuff behind the seat.

Unfortunately, mine are not in the doors...they are in the panels on the sides behind the seat.

Just looked it up, your right they are not in the doors, sorry about that. My SC has the speakers in the doors. Pretty shure my haynes manual shows the removal procedure, have to check.

Okay...I did a search...guess I shoulda done it before I posted! I found a couple of threads that say how to do it. Gotta undue the seat belt shoulder harness star bolt, then the panel just pops off...held by clips.

First the seatbelt harness needs to come off, then the panel pulls right off. The seatbelt takes a large torx bit...size 45 comes to mind, but you better check.
There may be a plastic cover for the seatbelt that pulls off to get to the torx bolt. A couple of short, quick tugs from the panel, top down, and it'll come loose. It snaps back into place when you're done.

Edit...guess you found it.
