98 shimmey hmmm?
Greeting to everyone and Happy 4th of July
My wifes 98 expe has a shimmey or vibration at 65 MPH or greater. Its a 2WD as 72k miles on it. Tires on it have less than 5k on them. Heres what i have done so far. Rebalanced all 4 tires again. Tighten wheel bearing ( they had play in them) And now i am thinking it might be the Idler Arm. It seems to have a small amount of movement in it.
Can anybody think of anything else to try if the idler arm does not correct the problem?
