This has probably been asked several times, and discussed as much. Want to put a set of the factory fiberglass running boards/steps on my 97 standard cab F350 4x4. Cant find them anywhere. Does anyone have a set that they want to sell???????????
Guys, there are some nice looking aftermarket ones on the market that look like the factory ones (not exactly though) and unless you are a stickler or are restoring to original that might be the better route to go.....
I have a set for a ex cab .look really nice they have a couple of cracks nothing major. I'll sale them who ever needs a set.i also have supports for 92 to 96 ford

Welcome to the forum. This is NOT the place to post something for sale
i am in search of a set of the factory ford Eddie bower side steps for a extended cab I mostly need the drivers side and a set of brackets that can be rusted up junk I just need them for a temp let thanks
I just need the brackets but no idea where I can find them so I'm going to make them myself I have another question I have the dual tanks on my 95 f150 the dealer is trying to tell me my switch is on the frame rail and it isn't can someone tell me if it is in the front tank or rear and it is the Eddie bower

Those brackets rusted out very easily you are very unlikely to find good ones anywhere the switch is on the dashboard but that probably isn't helpful to you you want to know where the switching valve is there isn't one it just powers the fuel pump in the tank that the switch selects there are valves in the return lines in both tanks if that tank is not selected the valve is supposed to close to fuel doesn't get pumped from the other tank into that one those valves are known to fail when that happens fuel does get pumped into the other tank if that tank is already full you get fuel spilling out the way to fix that is to replace the FDM in the tank that's overflowing another option is to just use the bad tank first when it is mostly empty switch to the good tank since the bad tank is mostly empty it won't overfill even though you are pumping gas in from the good tank.
By the way, welcome to the forum. But a word of advice, it's easier to read your questions when you use punctuation. And it also helps to put completely separate topics in at least different paragraphs, but preferably in different threads.
I get what your saying but mine as far as I know dose not run into the other one I put fuel in the front tank and I can flip the switch on dash turn key on hear fuel pump run but then its like its out of gas someone told me I need to get a whole new fuel pump to fix the problem any thoughts
where is the best place to find the original running boards for a 95 flareside?
checked salvage yards in a 100 mile radius and no luck......
any input is appreciated..
