OEM Fiberglass Running Boards/Steps

This has probably been asked several times, and discussed as much. Want to put a set of the factory fiberglass running boards/steps on my 97 standard cab F350 4x4. Cant find them anywhere. Does anyone have a set that they want to sell???????????

Thanks for your time!

I would like to have these as well. From what I have heard, they are discontinued and no one makes reproduction ones.

Try Ebay or craigslist. You could put a wanted ad on craigs.

Guys, there are some nice looking aftermarket ones on the market that look like the factory ones (not exactly though) and unless you are a stickler or are restoring to original that might be the better route to go.....

Those ones made by Lund look very close. I don't think they look as good as the EB steps.

Here they are.

Welcome to the forum. This is NOT the place to post something for sale

Those brackets rusted out very easily you are very unlikely to find good ones anywhere the switch is on the dashboard but that probably isn't helpful to you you want to know where the switching valve is there isn't one it just powers the fuel pump in the tank that the switch selects there are valves in the return lines in both tanks if that tank is not selected the valve is supposed to close to fuel doesn't get pumped from the other tank into that one those valves are known to fail when that happens fuel does get pumped into the other tank if that tank is already full you get fuel spilling out the way to fix that is to replace the FDM in the tank that's overflowing another option is to just use the bad tank first when it is mostly empty switch to the good tank since the bad tank is mostly empty it won't overfill even though you are pumping gas in from the good tank.

By the way, welcome to the forum. But a word of advice, it's easier to read your questions when you use punctuation. And it also helps to put completely separate topics in at least different paragraphs, but preferably in different threads.

start a new thread, this ones about running boards, so you dont keep hi-jacking the thread, check fuel pressure with a gauge while you run each pump

John, Welcome to FTE.

You should start a new thread for your fuel problem.

List your truck, engine, year. That will help us understand and diagnose problems you are having.

There are different fuel setups for different years.
