Or, you could have it towed to the local Ford dealership, they can remove the tank and then the diesel/gas mixture from the tank, flush the system, send the contaminated fuel to the local hazardous waste disposal facility, and put fresh fuel in. It cost me almost $900.00 when an employee put in about 3/4 of a tank of gasoline several years ago.

Guys thanks for all of the help nad information, if it was my truck I would just run it and keepo topping it off but it's dad's so I don't know what he will want to do, I will keep everyone updated incase this happens to other people.

I ran the 2 cycle ashless motor oil in my 7.3 for a while...is this what some of you are talking about, or does the 6.0 use a different kind...still not familiar enough with my own engine yet?

the injectors and high pressure fuel pump don't like gas the pressure gets up to 24,650 psi

There's always the old fashioned siphon tube.... fill with diesel and go.

just run it with some
2 stroke and don't worry about it. i had a kid at a gas staion put 8 gallons of gas in my 03 6.0 before i caught it. did exactly what i'm saying you should consider doing because my truck now has 162,000 on it and i have only replaced the icp sensor.all stock and runs great.
