Hey Gang, got my Hood and right rear fender home Thursday so everything on the 56 is painted! Sooooooooooooooooooo, the most expensive part of the truck is Done and Paid for! Of course I have a lot of "kind of costly" parts to still purchase. I will post pictures of the Hood tomorrow.

I go in for Back surgery on Friday the 21st so hope I am healed up by spring so that I can start work again. I have been walking like an 80 year old man since November 24th. I am ready for it to be fixed.

George

Glad to hear that you got it all painted now.

Good luck with back surgery. My mom is coming home today after having back surgery on Dec. 23. She spent 5 days in the hospital and the rest in rehab.

Picture of the Hood - Jerry Peterson did an awsome job on the paint. He is a true master and one of the last metel workers around.

Hey George, was Dynamic Rides pretty reasonable with the suspension/frame work? Ive been thinking about having them do mine or else my friend from over in Gibbon Kyle Bond.

Randy at Dynamic Rides puts out Very Nice work on anything that he does. I think he is very fair for the quality of work he puts out.

Kyle would also do a nice job as I know he has a lot of experience with these frames and his dad was the pioneer on the old Fords.

Bottom line, I don't think you would go wrong eather way and it is good money spent. Keeping things square is the key and its hard to do if you don't have the jigs or know the ins and outs of the set up.

Hey All - Got the 56 out of storage today and home in the garage. I can start working on it and putting it together. Have some bad news though, Had a broblem on the hood. The paint has a crack in it so take it back to my body man tomorrow so he can fix it. I will send photos as soon as I have some progress to show.
