F350 ExtCab-Is there such thing?
#16
They are rare, but in '96 and '97 they made an extended cab short bed F250 (as well as a crew cab short bed). So, if you really want an extended cab sold axle, buy it and swap the D60 in....its all bolt in, and would be much easier than a body swap. Thats what did, with my crew cab short bed. Everyone is right, the only extended cab F350 was a two wheel drive dually.

well maybe not rare but less common than a supercab long bed 250. i barely ever see a supercab shortbed 250 though
the d60 swap is cake. if you have the axle and all the parts.
couple hours after work one night had my truck stripped of the ttb
and the next night after work had the 60 bolted in. all on my own too
but make sure you get every thing the steering components all that stuff. the bracket for the sway bar thing what ever its called, its not really a sway bar i dont think.
also iv read swap out the front springs too if possible, it will be a better ride. so iv read.
