BDS/ Dick Cepek 6'' lift..same?

Ive found rumors that these lift kits are the exact same thing, from the same factory. Dick Cepek is about 650-750.00 cheaper... They look the same... any one know for sure or have some input? Thanks

no they are not the same at all. the reason bds is more expensive is you get a no questions asked lifetime warranty on the lift. everyone one i have heard running the BDS love it and feel they got there money's worth.

now myself i went with my ProCrap based on price and quality of the lift. some have had bad experiences with this lift so i can not account for there issues. Mine has been great, its a 6" stage II with extended radius arms and Dual AAL's out back (no Blocks). i have beat on the lift and has not faulted. it even survived a role over in the previous bronco i had it installed on.

They are the same kit.The only difference is BDS has a no questions asked warranty.
I have the Cepek lift kit.I don't wheel very hard so hopefully I don't break anything.

Go with rough country/skyjacker brackets for the best price. My buddy did on his 90 and found the rest on craigslist (rad arms and superrunner steering). I went superlift on mine and spent a lotta money.

There's a set of 6" skyjacker coils for $40 in sfbay CL right now.

The 6" suspension on my '78 is skyjacker, I like it. And the front springs are holding up 1000 lbs of diesel.

I just got a 79 Bronco last night. Looks like a 6" BDS lift on it.
Real solid.

She will be a work in progress
