Muddman, If you have a limited slip rear you may need to rebuild it. There is an axle code on the doorjamb that you can post here and someone will decode it for you, or do a google search.
Deljac, not all 4x4's are limited slip, I'd say more like 25% or so, just my guess

Second, you should start your own thread rather than bring up an old one. It confuses people.
Third, despite its name, there is nothing to slip in the rear end every time you take off. If you're driving in a straight line, there is no slipping happening at all. There can't be because there are gears in the rear end that turn the wheels.
Your slipping is coming from somewhere else, probably your transmission. We also need to know the particulars of your truck. Year, model, engine, transmission, miles, symptoms, recent repairs, etc.
