Have any of ya'll deleted or disabled your wastegate? I was told that it would help a little with performance but am not sure how hard it is to do or if it would potentially damge the turbo. I have to pull the turbo anyway to install a WW, is deleting the wastegate something I should consider?

 

I do not have your answer but here is a bump for you.

 

Many shorten the wastegate rod by screwing it in. This will hold the WG closed to a higher boost level. You may have to apply some pressure to the diaphragm to extend the rod to get the eye back on the lever pin. This will be fairly easy to do while the turbo is off.

 

If anything like Roland said, just shorten it a bit, running to high of boost will ruin your stock turbo. A set of gauges would be good..
