OK, it's not on a Ford, but it's a nice how-to write up on how to set up a suspension (p 54). Besides, Tim Allen's car collection (including his 56 F100) is also in the same edition. Hopefully the link below will get you there.

They showed this build on the show last week and they spent a total of three or four minutes on the suspension build during the entire show.

 

They had the build on back in the summer(or maybe fall?). You're right, they didn't spend much time on it. That's why I was happy to see the related article.
