whats your favorite mod?
okay i just gotta ask everyone.... what is their favorite mod they've done to thier truck?
i think the one thing i can't live without is probably my stereo, after you've got one it's hard to give up. i took mine out when my son was born. it only lasted a couple months, then i put one sub back in, and now i'm back to the full stereo. i can't live without it.
as far as the outside... it would probably be the tires, jumping from the tiny stock tires to a 33 inch tire just made the truck look so much better.
there are lots of pics of my truck on my cardomain site

what about everyone else?

Spark plugs and wires, then air filter, then tires, then stereo.
Nothing annoys me more is when some ricer comes into my work, they have the body kit, AEM intake, stero, subs, etc, and they cant even afford to put the basics on, such as BRAKE PADS. So many come in all decked out, and have bad ball joints, tie rods, no brake pad left, etc. Annoying!.

on my 65 Mustang and 98 Contour SVT
Mustang:
-Exhaust(lack thereof..haha..headers into header mufflers..thats it)
-Replaced points with solid state distributor from Accel
-long tube headers from Flowtech, Purple Hornies
-period tach(very, very similar to the ones used in the 60s Stangs)
-ET IV wheels with BFG Radial T/A's
Contour SVT
-I bent up a custom 2 1/2" catback to a Y into 2 1/4" duals with 3" angle cut rolled edge polished stainless tips..nice deep throaty tone out of that 2.5L(got 2mpg better too), no resonator or muffler.
-Mondeo ST200(imported from Europe) coil
-Mondeo ST200(imported from Europe) computer
-Falken Ziex Z152 Tires...205/55/ZR16s..handles like a dream
soon on the Mustang:
306ci Stroker with a 33mm turbo with fuel injection
built C4 or C6(not decided for sure yet)
Triangulated 4 link hangin a LS 9"(open on the gears yet...3.73-3.90 probably)
Mustang II IFS
Air ride for tunability, handling, and comfort
Soon/next on the Contour:
-18" black face aluminum wheels with polished lip
-slotted rotors with performance brake pads
-BAT struts and springs(better rates and a 1/2" lowering)
-SHO-shop Y-pipe(waaaay less restrictive at the headers)
Next on my truck:
-Step notched rear with triangulated 4 bar
-full air ride system...lay the boards on the ground at the shows
-347ci stroker with 2 24mm turbos(a little excessive...i know)
-19" and 21" Billet rollers
-disc brake conversion on the back...SSBC slotted rotors all the way around
yes...I know..that is a lot..but I have a lot of time..I am 19 years old, work as a mechanic back home(summer time work week=70-80 hours) and I get a large majority of this stuff at cost..I am not b-s'ing you guys..this will happen.
