I must admit, at first the Raptor looked kinda ridiculous, so I got a stock F 150. However, the Raptor's styling, characteristics have grown on me and I wish I would have purchased a Raptor ( I am satisfied with my XLT). Just curious to see how much everyone paid out the door for theirs. I paid $31,100 OTD 2010 XLT 5.4 Supercrew 2 wheel drive, sync, tow package, stock everything else. Northern California.

 

Most are paying anywhere from a little over invoice to MSRP. I paid close to MSRP because it was exactly the truck I wanted, then and there.

A Raptor's quite the deal actually. Consider what you get for the money. They start at $38k and go up to about $46k. I actually saw one priced for $65k in Maui!!!! (nutz huh?!)

Dealers are ok to move on the 5.4s right now with 6.2s coming in. But, 6.2s will be hard to find until the fervor wears off. Many say that it's the only way to go. I'd say that all but a very few 5.4 Raptor owners are quite satisfied with their power plants. The 6.2 should prove to be quite the hotrod.
