Boy I hate to ask this (radiator) question

Found an 82 351M for my '54. I know a mid 70's Dodge truck radiator would just about bolt in, but those are hard to find in my neck of the woods (NJ) My eyes are burning from sitting here searching the threads on radiators that fit. - Bottom line is - BESIDES the mid 70's Dodge truck radiator, does anything else work? What comes in 2nd best ovber the Dodge?

Radiators are one of those things that pays to buy new. A lot of the time a used radiator will have to be recored, etc. and by the time you are done jacking around with it you could have just bought a new one.

Back when I was searching around for one and discovered the mid 70's Dodge truck unit I ordered a new one from the local Checker Auto (O' Reiley's now). The guy behind the counter said they didn't have them, but I was ready for that answer and had the part number from a previous internet search of their website. I gae the guy the number and he orderd it in. In a few days I had my radiator. I think I paid right around $125 (this was a few years ago)

Good luck
Bobby

US Radiator has charts for most all sizes of radiators. If I remember, I bought a Mustang radiator for my 58. I had to make a few mods on the mounting brackets on the truck, but it works great.
Welcome to U.S. Radiator

I ordered a radiator for a '79 Ford F-150 with a 302. Drilled a couple of holes and bolted it right in to the rad support on my '55. I got it from Radiator Barn.
