Front fuel pump issue
I have a 95 f150 2wd work truck w/inline 6cylinder. Yesterday i was running it on the front tank and it was sputtering like it wasn't getting enough fuel so i switched to the rear tank and it ran just fine. Then i switrched it back to front tank after adding gas to the 1st tank and it ran fine. This Am i went out to start my truck and it wouldn't start so switched to the rear tank and it started. i ran on the rear tank and would try to switch to the front and it would die then a few hours later switched to the front and it runs but once again bogs down like low on fuel.
could it be just a corroded connection or is this fuel pump going out?

Yep, fuel pump. They're not hard to replace. Get as much of the gas out as you can. Disconnect the fuel filler hose and vent hose. Put a jack under the tank and disconnect the tank straps and then slowly lower the tank. Unhook the electrical harness and the hoses from the top of the tank. You need a special tool for those hoses, available at the parts store. Remove the lock ring from the top of the pump/sender assembly and remove the assembly from the tank. Change the pump on the assembly and put it back together. Not hard to do, just takes a while.
