Is it too early to start this thread?

I saw mention of it in the other thread, dates, reservations and such, but thought it needed it's own thread for this years plans.

I plan on being there Wednesday afternoon and I plan on NOT working on the truck til 2am the morning we leave, haha. No more stressin the Mel. It's going like it is.

I gotta call the convention center place and book my room. I just didn't want to do it too early and it get lost in the reservations like Stanley said some folks had problems with.

I plan on being there around noon on Wed. if all goes as planned. Hopefully the BEASTT will be road worthy by then but grandaughter Courtney says she ain't gonna ride in that piece of s--t(her words exactly) so I guess she'll have to drive HOMADE this year. Made the reservations for this year the day I arrived last year, should be in the same room so ya'll know where to find us, Smokey Shadows of course, ain't nothin like STAYING WHERE YOUR PLAYING, thats one reason it's GSM Run for us, you can party till 2am if you want with friends and never leave your truck or room, Gonna be great again this year.Want to cruise the K. Dome again and also do the Dragon this year, Garry

 

I'd like to come down again but I'm not so sure I'll be able to get off work. :-(

Can anyone give me an idea of the schedule? Anything going on Thursday, and how late does it run Saturday?

 

I always get there on Wed as there will be alot of early birds and stay until Sunday morn for most of us, of course people come and go as their travel time permits. Sat is usually a pretty interesting night as all planned events are finished and we can just hang out with OLD and NEW friends and have a good time before leaving on Sun. morn, Garry

 

I plan to be there this year, will be towing a teardrop camper behind the 53, so probably staying in the campground behind the motel. I should be there the weekend before the show.

 

Jeff, looking forward to meeting you. We plan to be there Thursday but may come early. I don't want to miss out on the fun cruises up in the mountains.

Hey guys, glad to see the flyer got posted on here. Sorry I haven't stayed on top of the website like I should have.

All I can say is, Come as soon as you want to, kick back, have fun, bring the family and stay as long as you like. Early arrivals get their choice of parking and the closer it gets to Friday and Saturday, the slimmer the parking gets. We ordered a parking lot stretcher but it hasn't come yet!!!

Stanley, thanks for jumping in here to keep us up to date on the happenings.
As far as that sign coming on at Krispy Kream, I think we will have to take turns watching out for Truxx. When the light comes on his eyes get as glazed over as the donuts.lol

Well, I wasn't going to call any names but you took care of that..LOL
I think his registration fee may have to go up since he never brought me any donuts last year...even after I asked. He probably ate them before he found me. LOL
