Who here has ever smashed out there back window?

I know this is on a 6.4 but I think a lot of you guys like me never go to the super duty forum so here it is.
Well Friday I did I was on the way back from a Dirt Bike riding trip with some friends we were just a cruzin down the road when I heard this snap then the whole truck moved then a CRACKKKKKKKKKKKK SHADDERRRRR I thought I had just got rear ended when I look back and see a dirt bike handle bar in the truck One of the fricken bike straps broke and sent the bike flying threw the back window Just what I needed so we tried to tape it up best we could and it my surprise it help the rest of the 50 miles home. So now come the main Question. Who here has a Half Rack / Headache rack. What kinds are out there? Does any one have any pics with them on there truck?

Thanks
Nick

Haven't broken it yet, but came close on two trucks, which is why a headache rack sounds like a good idea. My current one has two good scratches from an aluminum pipe that flew into it during a hard stop. The truck before had a softball sized rock bounce off it it. I thought the girl who tossed it in the bed was gonna cry when it hit.

Same thing i was thinking.... Nick did you have a block of wood or something inbetween the front tire and fender? The forks may have been compressing and springing back putting alot of strain on the strap... That and not running a support in there is hard on your seals

I had a motor in the bed of my truck, as soon as I get on the freeway I have to slow down and hear a tick.... Ask my buddy "did you tie down that motor good?" Then the next tick followed with glass all over the seat. It wasn't even that loud. I had to be at work the next morning and took my dads truck and when I got home my dad had taken my truck to have the glass replaced. Thanks dad.

So you guys want to trade a sliding glass for a regular one?
