Ok i was wandering if anyone knew about the upper front cab mount plate. My question is it comes with a small mount of sheet metal attached to the cup that goes over rubber bushing which i understand. What i dont understand is... Is the plate just held in place by the one bolt or does the plate need to be welded to bottom of floorpan then bolted or just bolted??

 

I remember reading an article in Custom Classic Truck where they welded them in. Still haven't done mine yet.
