I am trying to stay warm. I have a good fire burning in the fireplace.

It is currently 21 and snowing.

 

It's louisiana what with with the temps i'm i Livonia (POINT COUPEE PARISH) and it was 16* when i woke up at 5:15am i like the could but my old baby does not like to start and i'm the newbee

 

Good afternoon LA...well our high so far today is in the mid 20's also, so your cold down there! So much for Global Warming.......

I did manage to get Blue to the Hand Wash for a bath, so she's nice and clean now...for the time being!

 

Hey fordpride, good to see you on the site, there are several members all over around the state, not much been going on lately just everybody busy with the holidays and now the COLD weather, hopefully when it warms up a bit we will be able to get some folks together for a little meet & greet, maybe around Baton Rouge( central location) or really anywhere we can a group going, Keep posting when you get a chance!!!

There is a huge meet in the Baton Rouge area this spring. Its posted on Powerstroke Nation & a couple of other sites. Look up this post. Its a annual event that's getting bigger every year. I hope to make it.
BASH ON THE BAYOU Event..Apr 24th

 

Lariat 97 I have seen the event posted on the nation and on powerstroke.org. The org now has a Louisiana coal roller club for diesels.

 

I'm NRA4ever on my other Ford sites. I've seen your post on a few sites. I just joined the nation. I'll check out the org. I sure hope to make the Bash.

 

Lariat 97, Robert, I've seen a little about that April Bash, and some pics of some of the past events, looks like a big party, lots of action, maybe we should try to get our guys all fired up to attend, maybe set up our own little tailgate party along with the other guys!!!

At least it's sunny out!

 

Morning La. Its still cold. I have more pipes to unfreeze. Yesterday it was my little sisters house , today its Moms. I'm glad to be close again to help them.

 

I guess I was lucky, I wraped and drained everything I thought needed it, so far the only thing that froze was an exposed pipe going to the sink by my outdoor kitchen(which I drained) but evidently, not good enough. There was 50 ft section that litterly exploded, at least it is exposed so it will be easy to replace. At least the sun is shining, but it's still cold cold!!!

 

Johnny that sounds like a plan. I was going to try to make it anyway.
