help havin trouble wiyh my 5.4 cutting off at 2,000 rpm

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->for bout 2 weeks now my 01 f-250 2wd 5.4 has had trouble continuing to run when it reaches 2,000 rpm. will start and idle fine and run fine a few days in a row then all of sudden ill start her let her idle put her in drive accellerate upto 2,00 rpm's and she'll shut down. i let off the throttle and sheis back to normal. replaced plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cops, throttle position sensor, maf sensor. she does't start acting up sometimes til bout ten min after driving either. she is driving me mad. any help will be most appreciated.

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it. Pump could be getting hot and going out.

ok. spent 1300 on a certified mechanic to tell me that the fuel pump was not pushin enouugh pressure, but the bad connection between fuel filter and line to fuel rail was even worse. replaced both. runs like new. thanks to all the insight. hope this bit of info will help another troubled soul down the line. as a reminder "when replacing fuel filter, make sure its connected back correctly".
