Sure. Polls are easy after ya mess um up bout a dozen times. Chad could you or Duane check and see how long we need to do the poll? And see if we need to run the nominations any longer or have the nominees aproved afore the poll.

Give me a call when you get a chance today or tomorrow.

It Sure does-- Thanks Del -- I will see Duane this afternoon and see what he found out about the election process. He has been busy trying to pack a household of a million non-helping people, his daughter had a grandbaby, they already have a newborn, and a MIL that acts like a newborn in the house-- so his time has been limited.

Sorry guys, to say I been busy the last few weeks is and understatement lol. I was searching the CL forums and finally found what we are looking for as far as whats involved

3. Chapter Leader Qualifications: In order to qualify as a nominee for the Chapter Leader position, the candidate must be at least age 21 and a registered user on FTE for a minimum of 60 days at the time of nomination. (Clarified 01/27/2009)

4. The Chapter Leader Election Process: To select a Chapter Leader: After notifying a Regional Chapters Moderator, a thread in your chapter forum shall be opened for 30 days to take nominations from willing candidates to fill the position. When the nomination poll is closed, FTE will provide a list of approved candidates from that poll for the final vote . A 14 day poll will then be opened for the membership to elect their new Chapter Leader from this list of approved candidates.

In the event no one is nominated or elected to the position of Chapter Leader all member approvals will be put on "Auto-Approve". FTE shall be the sole arbiter of the Chapters viability, and will make all decisions regarding it's continued existence.

So this thread is almost 30 days old. So it seems all that needs to be done is to get Chad, Dell and Curtis approved. Then after that run a poll for 14 days.

I don't see anything in the guidelines that preclude co chapter leaders as we have had with Duane and Chad. I think that has worked well and think that a Chad/Curtis combination would work well. They work pretty well together and that would give the chapter representation for the Wichita and Manhattan area. I think that is important given the number of active members in both areas.

I will set the poll up, based upon the approved, by FTE admins, members listed above, but first I would like each to pm me a telephone no. with the time I can chat with each.

Have each of the members you accepted nominations to be chapter leader?
