1997 5.4 engine code help

I have 1997 F-250 LD with a 5.4. I am getting PO171 system to lean, Bank 1. I have replaced the upper O2 senor and cleared the code and it just came back on. Any help on where to go next would be greatly appreciated.

Could be looking at a intake leak on passenger side. Do a search, pages of info the code.

"Lean" codes are never due to the O2 sensor.

You have either too much air, not enough fuel, or an exhaust leak that is interfering with the upper O2 sensor.

Did you check for any pending codes or look at the freeze-frame data?
