Steering Box Questions
I am probably starting to wear on your nerves here folks, but I have some more questions and this is by far the most responsive/accurate forum I have been into. I just knocked off 30+ years of crud impacted on my Steering Box. I am assuming the nut on top comes off and some type of fluid/grease should be added to the box. What type? I am sure that the crud is probably due to leaking fluid and now that the "sealing" crud has been remove it will begin to leak. What years of of steering boxes are interchangeable with my '64? There is a '62 and a '65 at the local salvage yard. Thanks in advance for your patience and time.
