Would a muffler shop be able to modify a set of dodge long tube headers to fit a ford truck or would it just be cheeper to buy ones for it. I already have the dodge headers so I was trying to save money.
That would be a hell of a lot of modifying. You would need a different front flange, and all the pipe would need to be re-bent. The rear flange would be wrong too. Sell the Dodge headers to someone that has a Dodge and get yourself a set made for your truck.

What year, make, model and engine is your truck?
It is usually more inexpensive to buy new rather than modifying an old set.
Not to hi-jack this thread, but can anybody answer this ???????????
Anyone know of a company that makes long tubes or long tube tri-Y
headers for the 1999 F250 SD with 5.4 2V.
I can find anything I want for the diesel & V10, but nothing for the 5.4. This is just the strangest thing that I've seen.
