Removing flareside rear fender

Has anyone changed a damaged rear bed fender on a flareside/stepside I have a 2004 with cracked fiberglass for my daughter backing into it.Looks like the hole side bolts on, is this correct

I saw one in a junkyard the other day. It looked like you had to take the "cap" off the top of the bed/fender and there were a bunch of bolts under there. So yeah, each side can be removed individually. Every thing else should be visible.

Yes it bolts on. Take off the top cap and the screws are under it, also 2 screws under the side step pad and 2-3 along the tailgate area, I know one is right behind the bumper. The screws are Torq screws. I'm also looking to replace mine, just haven't found one in a local yard that is decent yet. I also think taking it off would be the easiest way to replace the fuel filler hose that seems to leak on all Rangers once they get some age on them.

thanks for the replys, I think I have located one thats the same color,if it is it will save me several hundred $$,It doesn't have to be perfect just not cracked, theres sratches on the rest of the truck. if your looking for one I have found several through www.car-parts.com you can do a local search and they list the condition and color most appear to honest with the condition.
