Merry Christmas from Northern California. I hope all is well in Southern California and your 2010 is even better.

My wife and I are heading down to Palm Springs to warm up next week and to take a look at Joshua Tree NP. We are looking forward to spending some time down south.

Merry Christmas from San Diego, sure is a lot nicer here than at home right now, temps in the 20's or 30's and up to 18" of fresh snow.

Sounds like fun Karl. Should be nice down in Palm Springs. Might be a bit nippy in Joshua Tree if the wind is up.

Joshua Tree was a bit cool, but sunny. Up at Keys Point, it was 43. The air was clear and according to the sign, you could see all the way down to Mexico. It was a great day.
