That has to be the nicest crew cab I have seen. I bought a 1960 Mercury 3 door crew cab 4x4 several years ago. The engine and trans were already gone but the rest of the running gear is there. I want to update the drivetrain but leave it on the original frame. I have found a grill and front hood emblem but not a straight tailgate. These trucks share 99% of the parts with the fords except the emblems and the tailgate. It's nice to see one fixed up and being used.
One day I hope to get started on mine. Too many projects, not enough time...
Very nice truck, you don't see many of the "original" aftermarket conversions. I'm doing a similar truck myself, with a 52 F-3. Only difference is I had to modify the cab myself. I'm also using the 70's driveline. Great minds must think alike
Just saw this. This truck now belongs to me. I've put a Cummins 6BT in it and it went to the paint shop last night for a makeover. All the years of the California sun weren't kind to the finish.
