Kash,

when you get a chance send me the info on the company that did the alteration to the truck originally that is on the tag on the rear seat of your truck as discussed. The updated name and phone number you told me about.
I would like to call them and see if they will do some more work on one so i can get the rear doors built or if they have any specifics that might help. Thanks,

Orrville Metal Specialties Co. Orrville Ohio.
Now called Crown North America, which i believe is still in business today.

I believe that My truck was built for the Air Force, and Doubt that it was a 4x4 originally

Your VIN tag would tell us if it was originally a 4x4 or not. Send me a photo of it and we'll see.

Thats cool, My plate is the same only not near as good of condition.
And I am wrong of the #,sorry. When I saw the 140, i assumed that was the number. Your serial number is way lower than mine, I think mine is 1557, and yours is in the 600's. I will get you some pics tomorrow.

Very clean...

I have searched and searched for information on these trucks , I found a site a few years back that was FULL of great info on them but lost all my saved favorites in a PC crash.... I own one and am going to be selling it shortly and was wondering if anyone had an idea of their value ? I would LOVE to see mine completely restored but with my finances and schedule it will never be done.

Again very nice truck

Should be on the seat frame under the seat on the passenger's side end of the bench rear seat.
