So I learned today that Chevy transmissions don't hold up well to gunfire.

I do have pictures actually lol. I just don't feel like uploading them. I have a chunk of the wheel that got punched out too. It looks kind of cool.

I'll put them up later. Incase your wondering, its nothing spectacular, I was shooting my SKS today.

Gun range? No no no.
Pay to shoot? Pff.

Sadly none of the bullets made it all the way through the engine.

Well, I lost my knife out playin in the snow over the past week or so. It was a Ka-bar Bobcat Dozier Folder with the serrated edge https://www.kabar.com/product/produc...urpose/Utility I liked the knife, my gf bought it for me for my bday last year. I was just wondering if anyone has any other preferences out there. I want a blade just as long, if not longer and it needs to be beefy. I was looking into switch blades too. If no one has any other suggestions I probably just replace it with the same thing.

I'm in the ghetto at night on a fairly regular basis and deal with some .. ehh.. not so good people, so I need at least something to protect myself if the situation comes up. A firearm would be ideal obviously, but that's probably not going to happen in MD.

Paul, where was that originally posted? Anyway, check Blade Play - Switchblade Knives, Automatic Knives, Spring Assist Knives, Butterfly Knives, Military Knives, Law Enforcement Knives, Collectible Knives for some good deals I like the Lightning out of the front blades. Good craftsmanship, solid construction and makes for a great utility knife, fairly inexpensive at $40. Also the button open blade freaks some people out....

True...so why not a gun? Given a choice, I know what I would prefer...

I've been waiting for the black handle/black blade lightning (BP-5630) for a few weeks now, just called and they won't have it for about a month or 2, so I settled and just got the tan handle/black blade (BP-5627) Lightning. Figure it looks kinda military and all....

Oh, and I wondered as well if they were legal, and the dude on the phone said 50 state legal. Somthing about them having a safety built in to prevent the blade from opening if the front was pressed against an object. The ones that aren't son't have that safety. I do have one of those I picked up in Germany a long time ago, so Paul wanna test it out????
