Everclear? Try corn liquor. The recipe you gave is correct though.

 

Everclear is corn liquor. I guess the bottle says grain alcohol, but has a pic of a ear of corn.

 

Its not the same though. Doesn't even taste the same.

it's made with everclear around here because i only know a few people with stills and i don't really trust them, extreme hillbillies, plus the bars can't get party liquor without the local pd's catching on, they are all drunks too

apple pie ftw though, i convinced my old bar to just sell it to me in 20 oz glasses because i was taking up too much of the bar wenches time doing shots. tastes good, and doesn't **** off my stomach, but the bar makes it a little weaker than home made.

Well, didn't know red eye was cherry flavored either. I figured it got it's name from the results of drinking it.

 

Around here there is usuually cherrys floating innthe red eye.


Needless to say I like apple pie better.


We went in. A party bus one timea, had apple pie, among other things. Needless to say I nwas feelin realy good after the trip across toen, and one bottle gone. Lol.
