I have a 67 F100 that has a 352 in it, but its trashed. I was going to dump it, but I like the idea of having something to tinker with and fix up over time. Has a 3 speed on the column. I already asked and another member was kind enough to tell me that a 360 or 390 would bolt up fine.
So my first question is will any model year of the 360 or 390 work?
I also found a pretty good deal on a '69 302 with a c4. I went to see the engine and trans that was in the car and was allowed to drive it to make sure it performed well, which it did. He would pull the engine and trans and it comes with all the external accessories.
Any chance the '69 302 would bolt up to my 3 speed if I wanted to save some cash?
If I do the swap of 302 and C4, am I correct in assuming that I would need to get another driveshaft. If so my truck is a long bed, what donor vehicles would fit? I also am pretty sure that I would need new motor mounts and trans mount, shifter and linkage. Anything else I am missing that I would need?
